How do I choose a natural looking lipstick that will still completely cover grayish purple lips?

I have a light/medium golden complexion. Light colors and even some darker colors look dirty on my lips. Does anyone know what I mean? Maybe some lipliner and l/s combinations that work for you.How do I choose a natural looking lipstick that will still completely cover grayish purple lips?
Use a lip primer like Laura Gellar Lip Spackle to prime the lips and the nude color will also even out your lips. Next apply a natural lip liner like MAC Spice. For nude lips that are not too pale or mod looking try MAC Freckletone with MAC Enchantress lip glass on top. The combination is amazing, sexy, and natural. Works with every complexion. Hope this helpsHow do I choose a natural looking lipstick that will still completely cover grayish purple lips?
i think you should enhance what you have and go for light plum lips. use a sheer pink shade, i think itll play up the purple color while toning it down.
I'd just get longlasting nude lipstick, then apply some tinted, but sheer gloss on top. It'll look like you're just wearing gloss if you do it correctly. If you just want to COLOR your lips, just apply nude lipstick and chapstick on top to 'set' it.

But, you can color your lips in with a flash-toned lip pencil/crayon, then apply gloss.
seriously get the lip gloss wands by Bee Luscious Cosmetics they have such pretty colors that cover yet are very light
ok so your problem seems to be that you have no clues what your skin undertones are.!!

there are 3 types of undertones. warm, neutral and cool

to check yours.

hold a orange scarf or anything orange under your chin and see if it suits you. if it does then your undertones are warm

do the same with a pink scarf. if you feel pink is more your color then u have cool undertones..

if you feel both suit you just fine then you are neutral

this is relevant in choosing make up as colors like gold, copper, yellow reds, corals etc suit the warm undertoned skin..

whereas colors like pastals, silvers blues etc suit cooler complextion....

to answer your question.. i think you have warm undertones, so choose a shade of pinkish gold... or try a shimmery golden shade gloss ... from loreal..

loreal has some great non sticky glosses that are shimmery but not too much , with grt coverage...

give it a shot.
well i went to beauty school, and when it comes to canceling out a color, such as a purplish tint you want to use whatever is across from the color wheel to help cancel it. (green make up to cover red spots, etc.) and across from purple on the color wheel is yellow, so use a yellow based lip color (goldens) to help achieve the less purple look. I hope this helps you out!!
