MAC cosmetics lipstick?

I ordered 2 mac lipsticks today. I ordered Myth and Show orchid.

I heard Myth was good, but I just kind of liked the swatch of Show Orchid so I have no idea what it's like. Are these lipsticks good? I also want to find pictures of them on people, but I can't fine any. Any help?MAC cosmetics lipstick?
From the colors you have chosen, I am guessing you are going for a nude look. But first things first, you have to prepare you lips for lip color, never just put it on.

1) Always make sure your lips are moisturized. Gently scrub away any dry areas (MAC has a lip conditioner SPF 15, creamy, white, and tastes like cupcakes.)

2) Choose a primer. It is clear, and will keep your lipstick from feathering and insure staying power. MAC makes Prep and Prime for lips.

3) Choose a liner. Liner outlines the lip, and gives you a sexy pout. Never leave a sharp line, but blend with a brush or with slight pressure from the lips.

4) Now to your question, the colors your chose:

-Myth: texture: Satin. Creamy finish, medium coverage. Will show dry spots on skin if you don't exfoliate, but beautiful color. Looks great with nude or light brown liner.

-Show Orchid: Amplified Cream. Super creamy finish, full finish. You will love this color! Def please use a primer. You don't this spread all over your face or you will have a hot fuschia mess.

Both of these are good choices, but you have a day lip and night lip.

Also, try going to

This site is completely dedicated to MAC. People show samples and I promise you will find the pictures of the colors. But feel confident in your purchase. Don't write off a lipstick without trying on different liners and glosses as a third coat. You made some good choices. MAC cosmetics lipstick?
The swatches usually don't match the real color of the lipstick. You won't really know if they're good for you until you try them.
